Thinking about getting a dog walker? Here are some important questions to ask : . What training methods do they use? We use only positive reinforcement based training. We do not use choke, noose, prong or e collars. We believe this helps build strong, trusting bonds with your dogs and create a reliable foundation for training. .... How many dogs do they take and how do they group them? We max out our groups at 4 dogs to ensure each dog can get individualized attention, can work on their training and dogs don’t become overwhelmed. We make sure to organize the dogs into groups with similar temperaments and energy levels. It is very important to have a balanced group dynamic. . Are the dogs on or off leash? We make sure to work with you and your dog to decide what’s best for them. We work on recall training before starting any of our pups off leash. Some dogs do better on leash and we can ensure that the dog will remain on leash. . Who will be walking my dog and what is their experience? We are pet first aid certified, fully insured, experienced dog walkers. We pride ourselves on building relationships with you and your dog so you can get to know us and trust us. . How transparent are they? We feel it is important for our clients to see what their dogs are up to during our walks. We love sharing videos and photos of each walk with your pups and make sure to provide you with feedback after each walk. . . #edmonton #edmontondogs #dogsofedmonton #dogsofyeg #yegdogs #dogsontrail #dogsoffleash #offleashlife #offleashhikes #dogsthathike #hikewithdogs #trekthetrails #puppiesofinstagram #yeg #albertadogs #dogwalk #dogwalking #dogwalkingyeg #yegdogwalker #yegdogwalkers #yegdogwalking #offleashyeg See more
