Rudi’s words: Since I started to train FP, my mobility and posture has significantly changed, I can do things that I couldn’t do before and my standing feels way more comfortable. For people seeking to function well and improve their health, FP is way to go. In summary from previous posts, before FP Rudi had been through some health complications, such as spontaneous pneumothorax, femoral head fracture and retinal tear on his eye, because of which he had to undergo a surgery, after which he was told by the doctors that he should never load his body physically anymore. Rudi’s attitude towards the training process has been extremely disciplined, since he has never missed a single week of training (except Covid lockdown period) since his first session. @functionalpatterns @naudiaguilar #functionalpatterns #fpresults #fpisthestandard

Repost from @naudiaguilar Making progress in multiple dimensions with @marikoko11. Figuring problems out with clients often times goes 2 ways. First you have to have the knowledge needed to help the client. Second is the client actually putting in the work and giving what you say consideration as they go on with their day. This is exactly what Mariko does. Pretty much, it's on me to figure it out because she puts in the work. It's my fault if she doesn't get better.. A grea...t deal of pressure is there to execute on my end, but fortunately she also gets that change is a process. If more clients took FP as such, they would also get the results. Thanks for the patience Mariko, you are crushing it! . . On a side note... There was no cueing here on the deep squat. Although she still feels mild discomfort in her right hip, she is actually able to get into a deep squat. Although Mariko is an athletic beast, she has also had massive amounts of pain that inhibited all sorts of movements. By correcting her spiral dysfunctions using @functionalpatterns, it has enabled her to pull this off. . . Keep this in mind: We did no deep squat training in the process of getting her into this position. None. The focus was correcting her gait as specifically as we can correct it. When you focus on the human blueprint and give functionality a shot on a complete basis using FP, a deep squat will eventually happen. No stretching or muscle weakening hyperflexibility techniques needed.. . . Personally, I completely advise against doing deep squats altogether, along with stretching. I had her get into this position a few months ago just to see what would happen. Outside of that, we have stayed away from the deep squat. We focus on changing tensile reactions in the body and the results keep piling on. Honestly though, we still have about 95 percent to go in changing her structure, but the progress is there. #functionalpatterns

This is what happens when you eat the whole plate of FP and asks for more. ... Growing up I played all sports all the time. Some at a representative level, some not. In my mid 20's I joined the military. After a plethora of parachute jumps and carrying extreme weight over extreme distance my body began to give way. This came in the form of anterior compression of T11 and deterioration between C5/6. My pain scale was 2-3/10 24 hrs a day and would frequently shoot to 7/8 leaving me incapacitated for sometimes weeks at a time. After 5 months of FP with @fpshannonhegarty, my pain scale is ZERO 99% of the time. Occasionally I'll have some dehydration and pain might go to a 2/3. The phenomenal (literally) thing is that the pain dissolves on it's own with no input from me. My gait cycle now is my pain management system. The left pic is 81kg, the right pic is 76kg. To quantify my progress I have been sprinting and measuring my max speed. I have increased my top speed from 28.1km/h to 35.1km/h. Cervical: Better shoulder (T1 no longer visible) head and chest posture, increased joint spaces, return of lordotic curve in C1-3 and C5-7 alignment, space created to allow for movement of C4-5 joint, more space in larynx to allow for proper air flow. ... Asthma clinic: Over 100% lung function, no tracheal collapse with full exhalation of air. No longer on daily inhaled steroid . Lumbar: Level pelvis and hips, decompression of lumbar spine, positive shift towards proper alignment of lower lumbar (L 3,4&5), better bowl function, reduction of body fat, better alignment of T11 12 and L1, slight left (positive) shift in scoliosis curve . . "When I started working with @fp_willie I could not physically move and was suffering from severe depression and anxiety. My Dr’s were telling me that I had tried everything conventional medicine had to offer for migraines, neck pain, nerve damage, neuropathy and mental illnesses. I found out during my assessment that being hyper flaccid and unable to do anything for over five years had led to all my old skating injuries returning plus scoliosis and compression in my spine. After 7 months working with Willie I can run, throw a ball, kick box and move in ways I never thought I would be able to again. My range of motion is better then ever and most pains are gone. I have also been able to drastically decrease the amount of medications I take on a daily basis. Before: IT band syndrome when running or sparring, lower back pain had to get up slowly to not seize lower back when getting up, neck pain from previous injury... . . After: No more IT Band syndrome when running or sparring, No more back or neck pain ever since doing @functionalpatterns . . Working with Will was great. He is very calm, precise and accurate with his coaching. He makes the complicated stuff more easy to do. FP is definitely not easy but damn it works great. That's why having a good coach is so important. By the way, his English is understandable for a French guy like me, so you can do it too my friends. I am a Boxing and Parkour Practitioner for more than ten years now. I fell on my back ten years ago causing daily neck pain until working with Will. Four years ago, I started Olympic weightlifting and bodybuilding to enhance my performance. I got results at the beginning but the toll it took on my body wasn’t worth it. During the last two years I had severe lower back pain. Every morning I had to go slow to not seize my back. I had IT Band Syndrome everytime I was running or sparring. I had to stop everything. I kept my bodybuilding practice but it was just making it worse. One year ago I started looking for something else and I found FP. After the 10 week course most of my pain was gone. Especially the lower back and the IT Band Syndrome. With the quarantine and nothing else to do I decided to hire Will to help me with my biomechanics. Best investment of the year! I can run for an hour without any sign of IT Band Syndrome. I can go hiking for days again. My lower back feels great, light and decompressed. 90% of my neck pain is gone. I’m going to continue training using the FP system and I can’t wait for the next gains to come.

In my early 30s the pain became unbearable. This is when I began my quest to heal myself. I went deep down the rabbit hole trying a little bit of everything. It was a roller coaster of feeling a little better and hurting myself. It really wasn't until FP that roller coaster leveled out and since been seeing constant gains. The understanding FP has on posture and optimum biomechanics is unmatched. I am extremely grateful FP is in my life and look forward to reaching my potential. Mahalo Mark
