Forwarding some information: Hi there! Just wanted to reach out to pass along that ECOLE has now launched our facilitator recruitment for the upcoming academic year! Facilitators are a group of McGill students who live collectively at the ECOLE house while working on activism/community organizing/experiential research projects related to material sustainability and social justice/anti-oppression. If you think it could be of interest to people in your networks, we would be thrilled if you would be interested in sharing it (but also very much no pressure!). All our info is listed at https://www.ecoleproject.com/recruitment and in our Facebook event, here: https://www.facebook.com/events/479743753366512/. Thanks so much, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions for us!

Care packages are available for pickup this week at FPH in time for the final stretch of exams. ... Terry will be available at First Peoples' House this week , on Thursday April 29th from 12:00 pm-3:00 pm for pick up. If you are unable to come to the House, please let us know and we will try to come up with an alternate arrangement to get it to you. For students who are very far away, you can still get your grocery card as it can be emailed to you and will be made available within the next week. For pickup arrangements and any questions please contact Terry Young at [email protected]. The care packages include: - Sweetgrass from vendor located in Kahnawake - Sweetgrass scented candle and soap by Sequoia - 2 reusable face masks with filters from Tribal Trade Co - 2 bag-sized hand sanitizer bottles sourced from vendor in Kahnawake - Bookmarks with info about McGill, SSMU and community mental health resources available to Indigenous students - A variety of tasty snacks - Additionally, students will receive a $20 grocery gift card from FPH via email at a later date. Quantities are limited, and after the first 30 care packages we will not be able to offer the Sequoia products and sweetgrass, and a smaller selection of snacks will be available. Woliwon, Thanks
