I felt it in my heart something was wrong & I was right. Please never doubt your instincts We are very lucky to have her home and safe. I’m not sure if I can post this here but my mom is missing from the Hamilton area. Today is her birthday Name: Bobbi Smith Age: 42 DOB: January 10, 1979 Weight: 160lbs Height: 5’1 Tattoos: skull, crow and butterfly sleeve, butterfly on the ankle, rose on the ankle, lower back tattoo Usually has a raspy cough. Missing since December 31, 2020 Last heard from January 5th, 2021 Known to frequent the king street and centre mall area. Drug addiction, possibly suicidal. Was recently clean for about 8 weeks and left on new years Eve to a party at the sandman hotel on centennial. (They have no record of her checking in here on this day but they do know of her) She called a friend on dec 31 to say her phone was going to die and she’d contact him in the morning. She never responded. Then on January the 5th she texted my grandma but it didn’t sound like her vocabulary so my grandma asked her to call. A few hours later she called and had a very raspy voice and trouble speaking and said she was checking into detox and they would contact us in 72 hrs. That never happened so we called and she never checked in. Police checked all centres and hospitals and she isn’t there. She is not in jail either. We have reason to believe she is in danger as she was receiving threatening phone calls in the last few weeks from a previously aggressive acquaintance.
