We are only valuable when we become creators. Whether we create a new device, a new idea, a new tutorial, or whatever, if it is useful, you will be valued. When you learn how to replicate what you create in such a fashion that it doesn't diminish its value but at the same time becomes less expensive in time or resources to reproduce than its worth, then you become very valued.
