The weather was beautiful for the Coquihalla Elementary Gr. 5/6 cohort as they took to the Cambie Trail for their turn with the District Snowshoeing Program. They were an eager and friendly group who enjoyed the extra time at the end for some play time in the snow Thank you to the teachers who helped organize the students for their successful day!

An absolutely spectacular day with ideal conditions up to Zupjok Peak on Tuesday! A tough climb up but the views made you forget any struggles you may have endured and everyone enjoyed lunch at the top! Great job everyone!!

A fantastic day to Falls Lake in the Coquihalla where most of the students from HSS haven’t been snowshoeing before. A good system of two leaders on the sled, one to spot and switch out steering at the end made it possible for one student to get where he hasn’t been before. Great teamwork! Everyone enjoyed their quiet lunch at the lake and an easy trek back.
