Good Morning! Can you believe it's Christmas time already ? Covid 19 has sure pitched us a curve ball this year and we have had to make many adjustments along the way...but the children remain happy and that is what matters ! Thank you for going with the flow and encouraging us along the way! Parents and children you are greatly appreciated for all the support you give to our schools!... Don't forget to look at your child's Christmas concert on the you tube link that you have been given! Please remember that tomorrow is our last day of school before Christmas Break and we will reopen on January 4th. Preschool tuition is due on December 20th for January. School Age Care tuition was due on December 15th...please remember that if we do not have the calendar and tuition you may not get the days that you need. School readiness is a process that goes hand in hand with early childhood development. Once children are ready for school, they should be able to cope with formal education requirements. On entering Grade One, children are expected to have reached certain developmental milestones and have the basic skills necessary for formal education. Just a gentle reminder that preschool fees are due on the 20th of the month. We are getting quite a few late fees therefore we have no choice but to charge a $25 late fee per day that the fees are not paid. Thank you for understanding!

After much deliberation and with the current Covid situation that we are going to try to hold our Christmas concerts by Zoom! Is there anyone who can help us set up zoom? We take our responsibility in regards to Covid very seriously and we want to ensure the safety of everyone. Everyone has settled in very nicely into the school routine. This is our first week of regular school hours and it is very exciting to see the children so comfortable! During this crazy time we will not be going on field trips unfortunately. We had booked the apple barn but they have decided to open the farm to families only not school groups. In all my years of teaching this will be the first year I haven’t gone to the pumpkin patch . However we will be doing somethin...g exciting for our students! More information will follow. Fraser Valley Montessori Preschool would like to give back to the Abbostford community! We would like to give away one year of tuition (two day a week spot) at our Immel St campus to someone who has suffered due to these crazy times! Wow! These last two days were fantastic! It was so nice to see all the smiling faces, it was nice to see the children settling in after two days of school! We look forward to spending time in the upcoming weeks with your children! Dr Roberta Bondar parents I would like to inform you of a policy change at our school. We used to take all the children at once to the large washroom, now with Covid 19 we are going to be using the staff washroom which is right outside our class...room, it will be one child at a time and the washroom will be sanitized after each use! I would also like to remind Dr Roberta Bondar parents that Ms Ayesha is a medical doctor. She is not practicing at the moment as she is staying at home with her children. We are very lucky to have her with us at Dr Roberta Bondar as she makes sure all illnesses are detected early and she keeps us informed on all medical protocols! Please remember that September fees were due on September 1st. Payment is past due so please remember to E Transfer to avoid late fees! Looking forward to next week!!

Good Morning, We are preparing for school to reopen on September 10th. We have implemented strategies to make sure materials are sanitized after each use, we have prepared for physical distancing while continuing to make learning fun! Registration packages will be given out on the first day your child attends! We will be practicing a gradual enrolment. Your child’s teacher will be contacting you the last week of August to inform you of your child’s times and days to come to school! Thank you for your patience, please rest assured that we are complying with Fraser Health rules and regulations and we are doing everything in our power to make sure your children are safe and comfortable!
