Wanna know the truth about my start as a Realtor? It’s certainly not as picture perfect of a story as I might like to tell. I was working full-time at thrifty car truck rental in Langley and trying to run my acting career but missed a lot of auditions and missed a couple booked gigs because I didn’t have my cell phone. I was looking for a different career so I could have my phone on me all the time and in control of my own schedule and within a week a realtor rented a vehic...le. He needed to be picked up from the shop he was getting his car fixed up during the ride in the vehicle we had a good conversation and by the end of filling out the paperwork for him to rent the car he asked me to come visit his office on my next day off as he thought it was time for him to have an assistant. It hit me that this could be the opening door that I needed and thus real estate became my passion!

Word of the week: Strength Where do you pull your strength from? Do you have people who cheer you on? Who/what do you lean on to gain strength? I am always leaning on God for my strength as He has proven himself to me time and time again. One moment specifically stands out...a while back I had a severe back injury that was going to require surgery. I prayed and prayed that I wouldn't have to go through with it. The day of the surgery arrived and I woke up in the morning completely pain free! It was a miracle and one I won't ever forget! #Grateful #Thankful

Tuesday Tips coming at you from my home office What's the Fall Housing Market going to look like? According to RE/MAX the following are just a few things we are going to see: ... 1. Canadian housing prices anticipated to increase by 4.6% in the third and fourth quarter according to RE/MAX brokers and agents. This is compared to the earlier prediction by RE/MAX brokers and agents of +3.7% at the start of the year. 2. 32% of Canadians no longer want to live in urban centres, opting for rural or suburban communities instead. 3. Canadians are almost equally split in their confidence in Canadian housing market, with 39% as confident as they were before the pandemic, and 37% slightly less confident. And the Canadian housing market expected to remain active for the remainder of 2020 due to pent-up demand and low inventory levels, something I am noticing too!
