Seasons greetings everyone! MaxTech is happy to announce that we will be continuing our annual Christmas Toy/Food Drive! We encourage you to do donate any unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items. All donations will be collected via door-to-door pickup from our team members. Greetings everyone. It has come to our attention that, as of this post, 5 residents from the Chartwell Aurora Long Term Care Residence have passed away due to Covid-19. For the past few years, we've had the opportunity to visit and connect with the Chartwell residents, to introduce them to the world of STEM by providing robot demonstrations, even providing some the opportunity to drive our past robots. Interacting and connecting with the Aurora Community is one of MaxTech's t...op priorities, which we strive to maintain. Our hearts go out to all the families and friends who have lost a loved one and to all the Chartwell staff who have been and are still being affected by this pandemic. We hope that you all continue to stay safe out there. We will make it through this

Although we were eliminated in the quarter finals, we were on a great alliance with Team 7475 and Team 6878 and had a blast at Humber. Great thanks to our safety captain for encouraging safe behaviours and to our YCDSB Trustee, Jennifer Wigston for your support this past weekend. Congratulations to all the teams who competed!

MaxTech is going International! The other night, we had an amazing opportunity to chat with the students grades 7-9 and the teachers of Maragondon National High School in the Philippines via skype call. We taught them how the FIRST Lego League City Shaper game works, talk about the capabilities of the EV3, and introduced them to our 2019 Destination: Deep Space Robot, Max 8.0!
