We hope everyone has a Hoppy Easter!
DATE CHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT The Fredericton Home Show was scheduled to take place April 9-11 at the Capital Exhibit Centre. After many weeks of different zones in the province moving between phases, things seem to be moving in the right direction when it comes to COVID-19 cases in our province. That said, to be cautious and give ourselves a bit of extra time, we have decided to move the Fredericton Home Show to Friday, May 7 to Sunday, May 9, 2021. Our team is continuing to w...ork with government officials and the venue staff to ensure our operational plan will keep everyone safe and comfortable. We'll continue to share updates here as we have them, and we can't wait to see you at the Capital Exhibit Centre in a few short months!
Winter is now upon us, and we all know how quickly energy bills can grow this time of year. So, here are 4 easy ways to help cut your home energy bill this winter! 1 Maintain your furnace. Keep an eye on filters for lint buildup, and clean or replace them every three months. Also be sure to schedule a maintenance appointment every 1-2 years. ... 2 Turn down your thermostat. You can save up to 15% on your heating bill by simply turning your thermostat down 4-5 degrees for eight hours each day. This could be during the day while you’re at work, or at night while you’re sleeping. 3 Clean your roof and gutters. Remove leaves and debris from your gutters and spouts. Clogs mean melting ice will seep into your roof shingles which may cause leaks or floods. 4 Keep your windows & doors draft-free. Add storm windows to existing frames, seal them with insulating window film, or you can even try bubble wrap placed onto water-misted windowpanes. Prevent cold drafts from coming under your door with a doorstopper or a rolled-up towel. Hope this helps!
A friendly reminder!
