Another successful bottle run for the club today by our recycling committee. A big thanks goes out to club members Nathan Ginson, Matt Coffey, Evan Peabody, Alex Caines, Josh Omlstead, Tim Comeau, Justyn Roberts, Blake Edwards, and Chris and Audrey Aaen for doing all the heavy lifting to transport all the wonderful donations for the club. Speaking of transportation, an extra big thanks is needed to go out to long time club sponsor, @triustruckcentre for helping arrange a vehicle for us to use to make this project as easy as possible. We strongly encourage you to swing by Trius Truck Centre for all your truck needs!

Today’s post is a combination Throwback Thursday post/Exciting news post! Our club has always been a huge supporter of youth rugby in the region, whether that be mini rugby or age grade. As of last night that tradition continued as our U-19 players took to the pitch for practice, accompanied with a lot of smiles and appropriate physical distancing! Rugby is back at the club! How many faces do you recognize from the 1979 mini rugby photo? We’re sure many of them can still be s...een around the club today. #TBT #Loyal

A touching story of a Loyalist gone too soon, but who has given life to many others through organ donation. Thank you, Laura Stairs. https://newsinteractives.cbc.ca/longform/lauras-gift

Huge congrats to 2020 #ProudlyUNB Alumni Award of Distinction recipient Peter Pacey (BA'71, MEd'80)! Peter is probably best known for founding the Calthumpians ...Theatre Company to present the history of New Brunswick in dramatic fashion. He combined education, history and entertainment and challenged young performers to give the gift of free live theatre and historic walking tours to Fredericton locals and tourists. Calithumpians and its Theatre in the Park Performances and walking tours continue to be treasured traditions in Fredericton. Peter is also a huge volunteer in his community from rugby to heritage and cultural preservation movements and he’s also been a great advocate of UNB. We are extremely proud to call him one of our own. Congrats Peter!
