We’ve written all their needs and wishes down on ‘ornaments’ and you’re welcome to come take one or more items the next time you’re in. (Or drop by, we’d love to see you!) All items must be dropped off (unwrapped) by December 9th. If you’d prefer to not go shopping, we’re also accepting cash donations and whatever is left on the tree we will go out and purchase. Last month Melissa won our Step Into September challenge so she had the opportunity to choose the charity that would receive the collected donations. Her choice was Captial Region Mental Health and Addictions, a local non-profit organization that provides support groups, access to resources, and workshops. We were very honoured to deliver a $500 donation to them in person today! Thank you so much to everyone who participated in any way! For the remainder of 2020 we are starting a new Pay It Forward promotion! What does that entail, you ask? We are giving away Pay It Forward coins which are good for a $99 New Patient Exam & X-ray (usually valued at $210). Current patients can give these coins to friends and family who could benefit from our care. When they come in for their exam they will bring the coin with them. For every coin that is returned we will donate $10 to Greener Village. ... We are also accepting donations. Help us reach our goal of $1000 raised towards helping those in need!!!

Everyone really "stepped up" their game for the last week of the competition!! Congratulations to everyone who has participated over the month, every step lead to us travelling across Canada. With 6.3 Million steps, we conquered 7 provinces and landed in Peterborough, Ontario. That's 4512 kilometers!!! Now for the news everyone has been waiting for... ... The winner of the Step Into September Challenge is... Melissa B. with 423 452 steps. Melissa's charity of choice is the Capital Region Mental Health and Addiction Association so $500 will be donated to their cause. We had a BLAST doing this promotion with you but, let us know in the comments below if you'd like to see something like this again!

It’s time for your Step Into September Update!! There’s been quite a battle for first place on the leaderboard. This week has brought some big changes! Keith is now taking second place and Melissa has stepped up to first. Poor Caroline is barely hanging on to the leaderboard in eighth place. This week we are up to a total of 3750km walked, which is over 5 million steps across Canada. ... In under 30 days we have walked an incredible distance together.
