If the panic of COVID-19 wasn’t enough to shake up your local small businesses- being broken into TWICE in the past 2 days certainly is. For those who don’t follow Instagram stories- Friday morning we arrived to the shop thinking all was normal only to see over $1000 in jewelry and accessories as well as some cash was gone. We called the police at 9 am and they said they would make it out to us as soon as they could. At 3 pm still no officers had shown. We made a follow up ca...ll and we’re told there were emergencies and that they may be able to get to us tomorrow and asked what time we opened. In the meantime we had cleaned up, restocked and the landlord had fully boarded up the door that they were able to get open. Feeling shook I was still trying to remain positive and feel grateful for everything we have. This morning I woke up to a text from our landlord saying that the shop was broken into again and we needed to get there ASAP. On arrival there was a police officer waiting and a wood pallet from a recent delivery that they had used as a ladder to scale up and over a 12 ft fence to get in through a window. We were totally ransacked. Electronics, cash, product- you name it, it’s gone. More than what they took- it’s such an overly invasive feeling. I couldn’t help but walk through the door and tears start pouring down my face. Obviously thieves don’t take into consideration everything that makes a small business survive and who they’re impacting. Thankfully the 2 thieves were not smart enough to turn our store iPhone off and after sending a message saying it was reported to London Police they ever so kindly wrapped it in a Tim Hortons wrapper and set it on a dumpster where we were able to hunt it down so you can absolutely get into contact with us if you’re a client or need assistance. We’re feeing extremely shook and my faith in humanity is slim. With everything going on in this world please be mindful and kind to everyone around you especially small businesses. Place an online order, buy a gift card or something even as simple as sending a message to ensure that they’re ok. As usual we will pull together the pieces and get back on our feet. Happy Sunday Clean, crisp and elegant with a bit of glam. Love how this turned out and that we were able to give this family a massive island that they never expected to fit!

Can a kitchen count as a Valentine?? We’re so in love with how this space turned out. When I emailed this design proposal off to our client I think the first line said something along the lines of don’t panic I know it’s different but I think it’s going to be so so good So thankful she let me run wild. It was refreshing to do something other than subway tile. This looks like the brick is originally to the home but it is actually General Shale thin brick installed after cabinet installation which was so suited to this century home.

Sneak peeks from one of our favourite projects! We coordinated the design elements throughout the entire house including furniture and finishes for a seamless look
