Imposter Syndrome: refers to an internal experience of believing that you are not as competent as others perceive you to be. Have you ever heard of this? I struggle with this big time because my nutrition is no where near perfect over here. I feel like if I'm going to be a nutrition coach that I should have zero struggles and make stellar nutrition choices all day every day. But that just isn't real life my friends. Think just because I'm a nutrition coach I never eat any fast food? Think again friends!! Balance is what keeps me sane and what I love about macros is that no food is off limits. Could there have been a salad in this bag? Yes! Is it? Nope! Why? Because I didn't want one! I had myself a good old burger. Now, I will be having veggies and be going a little lighter on the fat for dinner but there is zero shame or guilt. Traveling! Do you pre prep for travel? Bring snacks and meals and eat like that when you are away, or do you just make the best decisions you can and accept that you might not be perfect and live your life? For me, I'm the second! Personally I want this to be sustainable and packing chicken breast and only eating pre packed foods while my family eats what we are served isn't sustainable. Nor is it something I want to do. Zero judgement if you do, you do whatever works for yo...u! I am adamant that eating tracking my macros will not master me, it will not define my success, my worth, and I will not become a slave to it. Do you ever have those days that just get away from you? Where you feel on a roll at 10 am and then you blink and its 8 pm?! That was me today, so here I am at 8:15 in the shower with my protein shake because I didn't get enough protein in. And there is no way in heck I was snacking on egg whites & chicken breast Could I have just left it, yup! Some days I do!
