Further to my morning post about not be shielded from the environment, this what I would ride into if I rode to Kensington and then to Summerside, IF I rode. Stay in Malpeque? Ride to Kensington? I decided to ride and the storm chased me. I could feel the wind rise and the temperature drop . I rode as fast as I could and just made it as the skies applauded in thunder! Siesta time! At about 2:00 pm every day, I stop riding to wait out the hottest part of the day. I try to find a grassy spot in the shade preferably under a big old tree. On days like today I can’t help but to think that there is a legion of cycling elves that rush ahead to my next stop and using their magic grow a large tree and build a picnic table in a beautiful setting so I can rest and read comfortably.
