My friend Mike Baum and fellow Realtor who works in Dorset just listed an amazing property that has been in his family for many years. These don't come along very often. Quite special with access limitations. Kinda pricey but it is nice to dream. https://matrix.itsorealestate.ca//sh/JsV76MQgkc/1083RGLane
Here's a new message with a real estate update. The traditional Open House is no more. It's replacement is much better. https://youtu.be/MHJzIZA6u7w
Not so very long ago, there was a pricing formula that we could all rely on...the further from downtown Toronto you travelled, the less it cost to buy a house. Well, methinks that is no longer the case. There is an equalization going on right now with rural and recreational properties being bought up for record prices. This makes relocating from Toronto to the country a less profitable venture. Having spare cash in hand when the transaction is complete is now less likely. https://www.freshdaily.ca//08/future-housing-market-canada/

Here's a fun blast from the real estate past. Check out the old signs. The person interviewed is the late Daryl Kent, a real estate mentor to many of us old timers who have made a career in this profession.
In my Six Feet Apart video series, I've mentioned the anticipated shift in the condo market. I'm pleased to report that it has already begun. This article explains why thousands of the condos built in the past 20 years are crap. Decisions were made to satisfy the disappearing investor market...As this author writes "Investors are interested in efficiency, the return on their investment per square foot". Agents and buyers have been frustrated at the pathetic size of bedrooms and the poor layouts...now we know why. Apparently renters don't have king size beds. https://www.thestar.com//condo-seller-changes-tactics-to-a
