Nick the customers are supposed to hold the banner!! #FCM muscles through another hot day to get Laurie, Lloyd and Chloe (the cutie I’m holding) into their new crib. Special thanks to Dominos Pizza for the meat lovers Za and Jay Kozie for the photography skills. ... Sweatily yours, Friendly City Movers
With the busy moving season coming upon us, Friendly City Movers likes to give out some tips for our customers when we can. This post is solely dedicated to the Art of Purging. Now, we all have things that we can't seem to get rid of. Whether that be the family china cabinet, paintings from years past or that steamer trunk your aunt claims came from RMS Titanic. We encourage you to hold onto the important items that hold meaning and history, though, we do have recommendation...s. 1. Donate those clothes that you keep because " just in case ". Over abundance of clothes can lead to packed dressers, boxes and closets. Getting rid of some will breathe life into your closet and help someone who needs them. 2. Overloaded furniture. Its always nice to have options of scenery around your home, we also agree. But limiting your furniture will open space, save moving time ( money ) and allow you to keep up with the times when replacing single items. 3. Duplicates / Triplicates etc. I personally have 2 Christmas trees in my basement at this very moment, I don't know why. Purging multiples items that have no specific use can lead to more storage space, declutter and ease of use when looking for that specific item. 4. YARD SALE ! Another great part of purging your unwanted, unused items is being able to sell some of it. No, its not big $$, BUT, you will gain profit you previously didn't have, also lowering the time and cost of when you do choose to move. Bonus ! Voila ! Doesn't it feel great ? Tub be or not tub be. FCM says YES to moving a large, round edge hot tub. It might be 900 lbs, but hydraulic ramps and Jason’s guns make it light work.
#FCM crushes another midweek move from Beachville to Grand Bend for Terry and Mike + furry family. We didn’t slide off the ramp Everything somehow remained dry... We’ll be back for a corona (without the virus) this summer. Moving on.....
Today we braved the cold to get the gold. Congratulations Karen and Brent for joining us on today’s episode of snowpocalypse movers. We live to fight another day...
#FCM STRIKES AGAIN. Congratulations Kristine on your new place, we love the mix between vintage and modern. An awkward photo stance from yours truly, but the actual move was seamless and efficient.... Keeping the positive vibes going from one home to the next, in search of warmer weather. That’s all for this week folks. Friendly City Movers, Your local moving professionals.
