To our most valued customers! One of our independent contractors has contacted us with Covid 19 news. This is NOT an employee! But a contractor in the building after hours. As a precaution we have decided to close the pub for a deep sanitization as we see fit, to ensure the safely and good health of our employees and you, our customers! it may be a 48-72 hour close, until management feels the cleaning and sanitization is complete. There is no need for alarm we have been in direct contact with Fraser Health and are following all protocol. We did not have to close at all.. we chose to close on the side of caution. Cleaning up possible rumours! Friendly mikes has no employees that have tested positive for covid. Three employees where in direct contact with someone that tested positive outside of the pub, but all three employees were negative. We closed down for two days to do a deep clean. Under the health regulations we did not have to close but we did for the safety of our other staff members and customers. Thank you for your understanding. This three employees had to be isolated for 14 days and have done so.
