In the Friendly Talks About Stigma book, Friendly the S.P.U.D. is embarrassed to ask for help. He kept his feelings of loneliness a secret. He was intimidated, and afraid he would be mocked if he asked for help. However, with the support of his new friends, and the courage to reach out in hopes of benefiting others, he did ultimately ask for help. By taking the risk he felt supported, and he felt understood. With this current world situation Friendly encourages you to reach out and ask for help, or reach out and ask how can you help.
