A generous donation of $1000 has been received from a community minded family, with a challenge to ask the community to match it! Please help us meet this challenge, as our usual fundraising events are still just not possible. The funds will support improvements to the cozy cabin experience (e.g. ski rack, new tables, stove upgrade). Excess funds will support general projects at the Cedar Bay Outdoor Recreation Centre. These projects include: The Forest Therapy Project: if this project moves forward , it would be an opportunity to turn some of the area into a a healing experience by connecting with nature. It may involve a natural play structure, bird sound or plant identification information/signage as well as well as a self guided therapy trail. Latrine/Outhouse: We are hoping to have this available to the trail users and community members very soon near the barn at the trail head. See you out there!

Congratulations again to Brooks and Monroe Caul who were the Lucky winners of the Easter basket draw this weekend! We ended up with 491 entries for the big prize and all 58 chocolate bunnies that were hidden have been found! Thanks again to everyone for coming out and following the Covid guidelines while out on the trails! It was great to see so many people participating in our event! The bunny rocks are now yours for the taking if you would like to keep one or just re-hide one for others to find! Happy Easter to all!

Bunnies are hidden! There is a new donation box by the horses if you have spare change With the snow going, I noticed lots of old garbage so if you remember, throw a shopping bag in your pocket and multitask on your walk. Happy Trails!
