Where in the Park? This will be an easy one for a few of you!
A bird in the hand ... is a well-fed bird. Try your hand at feeding the chickadees and nuthatches on the Huron Fringe Boardwalk.
We hope you are finding a quiet and peaceful path through this winter. Stay healthy and please keep yourself and others safe.
Where in the Park? For those of you that are summer visitors only, the park looks different in the winter. Can you guess where this photo was taken? Vicki Houlahan
Our warmer than usual winter has left the Great Lakes largely free of ice. Ice coverage at this time is about 3.9% which is a record low. The ice is just now starting to form along the Lake Huron shores of MacGregor Point Park.
Plenty of snow at MacGregor Point Park has given us perfect conditions for snowshoeing. We suggest using Tower Trail, Old Shore Road Trail, and Kempf’s Trail. Send us a picture of your snowshoeing adventure if you get out on the trails! Doug Gordon
