Activities are geared towards adults so dust off those snow pants and grab your warmest mitts and toque, you're not going to want to miss this fun filled date night! Giving Tuesday is here! The Friends of the Garden is a not-for-profit organization that supports the garden and is funded solely by our community. Attention Friends: Be part of the excitement during the Garden's December Luminaria experience! The Garden is looking for a team of volunteers who can add something special to this event. These volunteers will assist the public at the wish tree, help with the cider crew and assist families at the children’s area. If you are a people person, with a positive attitude who always has a smile, you are an ideal candidate. Orientation and training will happen onsite. Please app...ly by November 20. Only selected candidates will be contacted for an interview. Calling all Friends The highly anticipated annual plant sale at the garden is the weekend of May 9th & 10th this year. The garden is currently in search of volunteers to help set up on the Friday, and also to help direct and assist guests the days of the sale. There are a number of shifts they are looking to fill, which are as follows:... Friday, May 8 - 12:30 pm -4 pm Saturday, May 9 - 8 am - 12:30 pm Saturday, May 9 - 12 - 4 pm Sunday, May 10 - 9 am - 12:30 pm Sunday, May 10 - 12-3 pm If you want to be a part of these exciting days, the garden is requesting you fill out a volunteer application form, referencing "Plant Sale", by May 1, 2020.
