Let’s for the park!
Parks are for everyone, and this year we've learned so much about the role they play in this community for all of us (pardon the understatement!). We've seen the words "share the space" take a whole different meaning (again - massive understatement). Today, here's the menu (along with homemade hot gravy) from the small but mighty Liberty Village CARES that have been helping neighbours for years and had to change Sunday meal prep focus as a result of CO-VID. If you're looking for your own way to get involved Joe Cressy's office shared the below resources with us earlier in the year.
An important share for the community. Stay safe and warm everyone <3 http://torontopolice.on.ca/newsreleases/48800

Check this out westenders. Worth having a say now!
This sure did. As far as we know, no one was hurt. Big storms can take down the older trees. This one, even with some buds on branches, shows the rot at the base of the tree.
It’s a wrap on our 14th season! Gratitude to our village for embracing what had to be done to operate during the #pandemic. We had over 27 volunteers from all ...walks of life & countries! Quite an amazing talented bunch. Huge thanks to Amanda Pickup, Volunteer Coordinator Extraordinaire who effortlessly managed the team into the small military operation it was. What a tight ship! Dare not breach the compound! Please & thank you Our vendors, after that crazy spring you all stepped up to the plate & knocked it outta the park. You do this every season, but this one was a little more special #Salute to our sister markets that opened in whichever form that worked best for them and to the ones that unfortunately were not able to go under the pandemic protocols. And to our few vendors who couldn’t attend in person because of the changing landscape. Last but not least, a 1000 thank you’s to loyal patrons & all who donated. Honestly moved by your generosity and patience to #LineUpForLocal. It was pretty cool. You’ve got our backs and everyone felt that love. Okay, let’s keep the momentum going! Stay tuned in for vendor highlights. Get in their loop for off-season food shopping. Vendor links are always on our website under their profiles #Supportlocal. Take care, Carolyn Manager/Co-founder/volunteer
Here's a view we don't see much! Nice.
The things that show up in the park! Thanks Bob Whalen!
Last one of the year ...mark your calendars for 3-7pm! #freshTuesdays
