Adopted Pickles has been quite the popular girl, and she has now found her forever family. She will be spoiled and loved by her new family! We will miss her, but we know she is in good hands. Congrats Pickles (now Pepper)... Thank you to everyone who has applied, and the ongoing support. Please stay tuned for incoming dogs needed homes.

Ramp secured We are currently hoping to borrow an indoor/outdoor ramp for our girl Rose. If anyone has a ramp that we could borrow for her recovery, we would be very grateful. Preferably in the Ottawa area. ... Please note: we are specifically looking for a ramp, not the stairs. Thank you

SHE’S OK Today has been emotional for our team. We would like to thank everyone who has reached out to us with love. We have had donations towards her care, offers of opening their home, and support that are truly appreciative. We will be posting an official update soon, with more info and how to donate towards her medical costs. Honestly, without all of your support, we wouldn’t be able to help these beautiful souls. ... She is now resting with her amazing fosters. She has a long road ahead of her, but we are extremely grateful for her second chance. She is a fighter, and it really helps that she has so many people rooting for her. Now for a big sigh of relief (We are NOT accepting adoption applications at this time.)

Rose is currently at the vet awaiting her surgery. The vet has looked at her x rays and the decision was made to amputate her fractured leg. Considering the pain and trauma she is going through, she is still the sweetest soul. Our team is eagerly awaiting to see her this evening. Please send all the good vibes her way, she truly deserves it

Please welcome Rose to the rescue Our rescue was approached by a friend who knew of an injured dog in need of help. We took her in and brought her to the vet immediately for assessment. It has been determined that she has a serious break, and requires immediate surgery. She is booked in for tomorrow for full surgical assessment, and to see if they can save her leg. She is resting comfortably tonight with her wonderful fosters. We will update tomorrow after her surgery. ... Thank you for all the support.

ADOPTION ALERT Introducing Niko. She is a labradoodle mix, and around 3 years old. Niko is as sweet as they come. This shy, reserved girl takes her time warming up to people and new situations, but once she trusts you, you will have a shadow for life. ... Niko needs a family that understands she has had a past with minimal human contact and lived outdoors. The ‘human world’ is all new to her, but with patience and understanding we are confident she will be a fantastic house pet. She is currently in a boarding situation and thrives on routine. Having other doggy friends to play with and confident dogs to follow their lead has helped her during her transition. She is clean in her kennel area, never making a mess and we believe her house training will come easily. Due to her past Niko is not likely to be a good candidate for off leash adventures, and would be best having a safely secured fenced in yard. Once comfortable in her new home Niko will be sure to show you her playful side. She loves to bounce, play bow and roll on the couch with her favourite human. She has slowly been learning the fun of toys and will occasionally pick one up to toss in the air. If you think you could help Niko find her way in the human world and want a best friend for life contact us at [email protected]
