Project Nishin Indigenous Artists Walking in a Good Way The Arts Council of Algoma and Fringe North International Theatre Festival present Project Nishin as part of Ontario Culture Days September 25 - October 25 2020.... Five incredible Indigenous artists have created diverse, short, relevant videos. www.fringenorth.ca. Project Nishin’s vision was to create a space for connection and sharing of ideas among Indigenous creatives during a global health pandemic. Connection, community and StoryTelling are the necessary heart of theatre creation and we believed that it was a worthy endeavor to discover if we could create that sacred space remotely. New project features five really 'nishin' videos

Five short videos by Indigenous artists are being showcased in a new online gallery. "Project Nishin" was, in a way, born of COVID-19. Up North host Jonathan Pinto spoke with Sarah Gartshore and Adam Francis Proulx, who were Oshkaabewisag helpers on the project.
