Re-sided a house late summer. Stripped all of the old vinyl siding on the house and garden shed and replaced it with a new composite CanExcel siding. The new siding is hail/impact proof and durable.
Looking for a full time labourer ASAP Ideal if you can read a tape measure and use a circular saw. Phone me at +17808427972 or email me at [email protected]
Gave the post office in Amisk a well deserved face lift.
Formed, framed, and finished a 26’x30’ garage in Metiskow. While we there we also helped lay some flooring in the house. The front deck also needed some attention. We installed some new posts, lattice, and steps.
Started a basement for a RTM ( ready to move home) just north of Coronation earlier this August. It’s a 1980 sq ft house with a 1050 sq ft attached garage. The house is coming in early to mid September. It’ll be well ready by then.
I’ve been planning on building myself a garage for a while, finally got a start on it.
Done lots of shingling this year due to the weather. We had to tarp over this roof for now until insurance figures out what to do with it. Had some issues nailing the straps on though with the massive hornets nest under the dormer eaves. I’m not much of a bee whisperer when I’m 30’ in the air with the wind howling
Prepped an old double wide portable school for a new roof and soffit near czar. It was previously leaking from all the rain this year, but it didn’t take long to seal it all up.
Did lots of little jobs for Century 12 farms out of killam Re-shingled a house and garden shed Re-sided an old garage Prepped and poured a sidewalk Prepped and poured a grain dryer pad
Stripped and shingled the Amisk C-store, had to cut and replace some fascia boards and patch some roof areas but all in all it went smoothly. In and out in a 1 1/2 days and on to the next job
Re-shingled a house south of czar, as well as prepped and poured and 35’x24’ garage apron. We had a very good crew and hosts that made the couple of days go by smoothly.
Installed a good portion of railing for Kevin and Shelly Walters in town. Should keep the grandkids corralled up nicely.
Helped out Bridges Contracting re-shingle the Amisk school in mid-July.
Re-sided and re-shingled a house just south of czar last month It got hammered by hail last year, hopefully that doesn’t happen anytime soon.
We re-sided/insulated the czar curling rink this summer Had some issues with some rot on the lower half of the walls. Patched them up and chased out the gophers inhabiting the walls. Also built a 12’x10’ addition for storing the ice scraper and rocks Had to reinforce the footing along the bathroom wall, the foundation had sunk 4 over 12’ ... Took a bit longer than expected but it turned out good in the end See more
Re-sided a house early this summer, experienced some water damage around the windows and doors. Sealed them up with some tape and exterior caulking.
Finished up the Sather residence in the end of April. I’m really starting to enjoy the timber framing portion. It’s cheaper than your conventional treated posts plus it adds a nice rustic cabin feel.
Prepped, formed, and poured a nice hexagonal slab for Sather Simmentals in the fall.
Had a nice weeks worth of work on a new pole shed at the Almberg ranch before the holidays Installed insulation, vapour barrier, 2x4 straps, and bright white tin Should come in handy for farming equipment over these cold winter days Also a big thanks to Terry Hamilton with Battle River Implements for lending me the goose neck trailer to haul the telehandler from another site.
Happy Halloween everyone!
Just started the new Sather house with a hole in the ground. Thanks to Stephen large for his fine excavator work.
Had this house moved in last year from a ways away. Shingles must have been disturbed on the way because they kept blowing off through the year. Home owners decide to go with tin instead. So we strapped it, installed new roof fixtures and trims then tinned it. It’ll definitely keep the rain and wind out.
Had a nice house in town that needed some new shingles and siding, along with a new set of porch steps.
Formed up and poured a pad for a future hydrolic cattle squeeze. Put a nice broom finish on for grip. It’ll be a lot nicer than working in the muck.
Strapped and tinned another quanset as well as installed a new overhead shop door
Put some tin on a quanset for Brad Johnson, needed some patch-work first and 1x4 strapping. It’ll keep the water out a lot longer than those old blown off shingles.
Constructed this beautiful home from start to finish
Started the new Trenerry residence, has been a bit of a battle in the sand but she’s all up hill from here.
Last years fun project! Building this fireplace!
