From Houses to Homes

This is a great initiative and collaboration. There is no government support to help these children's education. Help if you can get books in these schools.

Here are the pictures of the 3 families who were given a key to their humble home last Friday. They were sleeping on a dirt floor and protected by pieces of tin or corn husk walls. This will change all their lives forever. Thank you for your generous contributions.

Even though we are unable to travel to Guatemala due to COVID-19 we continue our mission to build homes for very poor Mayan families, we are very grateful for our very generous donors and fund raisers because this morning the team from de Casas a Hogares in Antigua Guatemala begin building homes for 3 families. A single mother with 3 children, a couple living in a corn husk home with their 2 children and a family of ten living in shacks made of corn husks and metal. Friday these 3 families will receive a key to their new humble home. Thank you to those who continue to support From Houses to Homes Canada/de Maisons a Foyers Canada.

In this difficult year of the Pandemic, your generous donations and contributions helped us support many families in Guatemala, where there is no government assistance, have food, shelter and the very basic needs to survive.
