Tonight our Junior Number Ninjas group is in for some fun competition with our virtual game show! Thank you to all our volunteers who helped put this activity together!

Congratulations to our volunteer of the month, Ross Evans! Ross has been co-leading our Junior number ninjas program and put together exciting activities like their coding experience! We asked Ross what he enjoys most about volunteering with Frontier College: "I really enjoy getting to spread enthusiasm about math at a crucial age in children's development. Developing a negative mindset like "I'm not good at math" is one that's easily reinforced, when really, math is a skill that can be practiced just like any other. I always find Number Ninjas to be a great way to demonstrate that math isn't some boring subject of applying rules by rote, but that it's ultimately about discovery, solving puzzles, and having fun."
