Our 100 kW turbine comes with a tilt-up tower, which lets us easily install these turbines in remote areas with only a few pieces of local equipment. No cranes needed! It also makes the turbine easy to lower for necessary maintenance. https://youtu.be/nye0YB7B6Ek #WindDiesel #RenewableEnergy #FrontierPowerSystems #100kW #RuralEnergy

Approximately 40% of global CO2 emissions come from burning fossil fuels (including diesel) to generate electricity, which is directly contributing to climate change. One of Frontier Power Systems’ goals is to reduce the diesel use in these communities, by installing systems that use renewable energy, including wind and solar. Every little bit counts. #WindDiesel #RenewableEnergy #FrontierPowerSystems #100kW #RuralEnergy

Kipnuk, located on the west coast of Alaska, is a Yupik community of about 600 people. Kipnuk’s residents get their electricity from a combination of diesel generators and Frontier’s Mark 1 wind turbines. Kipnuk is one of many communities to benefit from hybrid #WindDiesel systems. #RenewableEnergy #100kW #RuralEnergy
