We are looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver with Air or Slack Brake endorsement to operate our fleet vehicles and complete courier services. The driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of our client’s freight. Tasks include: loading, unloading, organizing and transporting the freight between our warehouse and clients located within Winnipeg and Southern Manitoba. Responsibilities:... -Complete round trip parcel and courier deliveries from our facility located in the -Fort Garry Industrial park to areas of Winnipeg and Southern Manitoba using highway 75. -Operate a 5-ton, tractor trailer, or other vehicles in our fleet. -Maintain trip sheets, freight documents, manifests, and BOL’s, etc. -Adhere to health and occupational safety regulations, Manitoba Highway Traffic Act, and DOT regulations. -Ensure safe, secure, and prompt delivery of the cargo while on route. Qualifications: -Valid class 1 license. -Valid Air or Slack Brake endorsement. -A recent & clean driver’s abstract. -A DSR rating scale of +1 or higher. -Experience as a commercial courier driver. -Experience using log books/trip sheets, pre-trip & post-trip inspection reports, and other freight documents. -Experience using technology for dispatch, communication and travel. -Able to safely lift and transport packages up to 75 lbs without assistance. -Ability to use equipment such as dollies, jacks, straps, etc. -Ability to read, write, and clearly communicate in English. -Must complete a criminal background check and be bondable if required. -Legally authorized to work in Canada. We are seeking a full time Courier Driver capable of driving our fleet vehicle in the city and surrounding areas of Regina. Starting from and returning to our warehouse in Regina, the Driver will service our Clients cargo/package pick-ups and drops offs, including the loading and unloading of... freight.
