This week, we began delivering to shelters in downtown Toronto. We delivered 24,100 masks, 450 face shields, 7000 gloves, 200 gowns and hand sanitizer in just one week. . . . We are nearing the end of our initiative and will be distributing all of the remaining masks and PPE by this month. We are accepting all monetary donation until June 20, 2020. Premier Doug Ford announced that the Ontario government took over five more long-term care homes around the GTA amid the coronavirus pandemic. In response to that, we quickly delivered 17,050 masks and 400 face shields to eight different sites that are in need of PPEs. . . .... Now that stores are re-opening and wearing masks are currently being recommended by most countries as a means of source control in the general population. We want to provide you with information about how to wear and use a mask properly: - Before putting on a mask, clean hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water. . - Cover mouth and nose with mask and make sure there are no gaps between your face and the mask.... . -Avoid touching the mask while using it; if you do, clean your hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water. . - Replace the mask with a new one as soon as it is damp and do not re-use single-use masks. . -To remove the mask: remove it from behind (do not touch the front of mask); discard immediately in a closed bin; clean hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
