Hello folks! Through Headstart Homeschooling I'll be teaching a music program with a focus on rhythm and groove. We'll learn basic rudiments of rhythm and counterpoint, the art of the hambone, spoons, bones, kazoo and didgeridu. Good People! Here is segment 2 from my 'concert' at the Bytown Museum. I was scheduled for today's concert but please accept this instalment in LUEY of the liv...e flesh and bones. In this performance you will see me playing a small Maple syrup bottle. This technique was used by African quill players (similar to a small set of pan pipes) which was then transferred to the bottle. The Jaw Harp I play here comes from South India where it is called a Morsing. Every culture/people on the planet have a version of this instrument.
