This weekend is the Squamish Farmers' Market holiday market - and it's going to be the biggest and bestest one of the year (please note: all social distancing measures are still in place). The whole of downtown Squamish is in full holiday mode, with storefronts decorated, trees lit, and over 60 vendors to shop for locally made goods. We will be there with our full line up of cordials - in both large + mini format, and our gift boxes. We will also have our "make your own" gif...t box for you to custom create by choosing from over 20 different cordial flavours. Not only am I excited to shop for locally produced gifts, but I'm excited to see our community out and in the holiday spirit If you feel more comfortable shopping away from the public, you can pop into our shop instead, Sat or Sun 10-4. We are also stocked with other artisan food products from BC makers, such as East Van Jam, The Lemon Square and Sweet Theas Bakery. PLUS, our fudgies are cillin' in the freezer! So much sweet goodness happening at 38927 Queens Way, unit 11 (by Aframe Brewery......grab a beer and come say hi!)

Food is the tie that binds us. It's why we do what we do. It's the mindful preparation and the sharing of our labours that not only feels good, but fills the soul (and tummy). For the next few weeks leading up to Christmas + New Years Eve, our wee pop in shop will not only be full of all of our delicious cordials, but some of our favourite BC brands who make + bake from the heart. What better way to bring a little holiday cheer to those you love than by sharing local small b...atch foods, like this traditional stollen from Sweet Thea's Bakery (seriously, a slice of this toasted with a cup of tea in the morning is just about all the holiday vibes I need to start the day on a happy foot!) Thea's baked goods honour tradition and bring a sensory overload of holiday yumminess. Each bite transports us to the snowy outdoor German Christmas markets (one day we'll go back, but Theas baking is a sweet compromise!) We'll be open every Sat + Sun 11-4, and the whole week leading up to Christmas 11-4 (closed on Christmas + Boxing Day). From Sweet Theas Bakery we will have her most sought after: fruit cake, stollen with marzipan, chocolave cookies, ginger crinkle cookies and, traditional German chocolate lebkuchen. Perfect teacher or office gifts, or for having on hand for cozy holiday snacking with the family.

Simple ingredients, maximum impact. I love this cordial ( try not to choose favourites, but this is up there). It’s fantastic in a dry hard apple cider, Prosecco, sparkling pear cider, gin + tonics (try fevertrees elderflower tonic with this combo). Surprising lovely holiday cocktail maker this one! Cheers
