I've wanted to create a really pretty, fun, form meets function, gift worthy tea towel and I am so excited to show this baby off! Created by @hannah_sutton_design (she is the beauty behind all of our branding) and then our talented market friends, @thehiveprinting , who silk screened it onto organic cotton. We will have a limited supply of these at the farmers markets, in our Squamish pop in shop and of course, our estore. How cute would these be with one of our gift box sets?? (ehem, Mother's Day is next week). atowel #illustration #formmeetsfunction #branding #cocktail #frostbitesfunrecipes

Flash Back Friday!! same green cap, same vibrant all natural colours, but look at those labels!! I loved that look (thanks, Roz) but somehow it never translated when we tried to get our bottles retail ready (swipe to see the difference). The whole English AND French having to be on the label kind of sucks up space. But, more importantly...... Here's our market schedule for the weekend ahead!... SATURDAY: @squamishfarmersmarket 10-3 we'll be shaving ice and loaded with cordials for all of your beverage making needs SUNDAY: @vanmarkets for the first Kitsilano market of the season 9:30-2:30 (new hours!!) we'll have alllll the goods with us! #cordial #sodasyrup #cocktailsyrup #farmersmarket #packaging #branding #flashbackfriday #smallbusiness

ooooooo, yes they are. And I'll be sitting right here with this - feet, sun glasses on, waiting not so patiently. This is a lovely mocktail subbing out the sparkling wine with limonata or sparkling water. #mocktail #cocktail #frostbitesfunrecipe #cocktailmix #icedtea #lemonade #sodasyrup #simplesyrup #cordial #smallbatch

The glass supply chain issues this past year has been a relentless thorn in my side (and for many small businesses). Thanks to our friends at Rootside Bitters & Mixers (have you tried their tonic syrup yet?) we are getting some of their stock of bottles to get back into production! YEAH! Thank you to everyone who has been so patiently waiting. We are grateful + humbled by your kind words and orders. ... We should have more stock of everything up on the estore and in the shop this weekend.

S H A R E Y O U R L O V E From Jan 29th to Feb 14th, for every purchase made from the following BC artisans, a donation will be made to Atira Women's Resource Society - a non profit organization that is committed to doing the work to end violence against women. S H A R E Y O U R L O V E With Valentines in the air and on our minds, we invite you to #shareyourlove with those who need our support. Eight BC artists have teamed up to donate a portion of our sales made between now and Feb14th to Atira Women’s Resource Society in the Lower Mainland. The pandemic has heightened the risks for women and children who do not have safe relationships, warm homes or... money to live on when work isn’t possible. From the society.. Atira Women’s Resource Society is a non-for-profit organization committed to the work of ending violence against women. Atira provides a number of services to women and children in the Lower Mainland who have experienced the impact of violence and / or abuse, including housing, counseling programs, outreach programs, legal advocacy and self-employment training. To date we run over 30 housing programs in North, Central and South Surrey, Richmond, Burnaby, Strathcona and Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, including temporary and permanent housing. So when you purchase a gift for someone you love, for friends and family who you miss, or just for yourself, you will be helping women you haven’t met and you will be sharing your love. Here’s the scoop @zedhandmade will donate 20% of online sales, in-stock and custom orders on all designs; shop at zedhandmade.com @billywoulddesigns will donate 50% of sales of the recycled skateboard chubby heart necklace; shop at billywould.com @winterluxe will donate 10% of online sales @dogwoodletterpress will donate $2 per card sold in their Love & Friendship Pop-Up collection, and for the two Chickadee cards shown, 100% of sales will be donated to Atira; shop at dogwoodletterpress.com @frostbitesfun will donate 20% of online sales; shop at frostbitesfun.com @lornamoffattaylor will donate 15% of online sales; shop at lornamoffatdesign.com @joannalovettsterling will donate 10% of online sales; shop at joannalovett.com @tuxedo_cat_pottery will donate 10% of sales made online or at her shop (Kingsmill Studio, Granville Island) with a mention of this offer; shop at charmiannimmo.com To find out more about Atira or to donate directly go to @freeofviolence And as always, thank YOU for supporting handmade and shopping local. It is with a wee bit of sadness that we are announcing that we are discontinuing our Tangerine Passionfruit Cordial. We still have a few bottles left in stock which we've put it up in our estore. Once it's gone, it's farewell sweet cordial. Hint-hint: if you want it, now's the time to stock up! This cordial was my go to for whipping up a quick batch of white or red sangria. The following recipe makes approx 4 glasses. 3 c wine, red or white... 1/2 c tangerine passionfruit cordial then 2 c worth of fruit - pick what's on hand, or your favourite flavours: slices of oranges + lemon, mango, pineapple, berries, apples, pears. 2 c soda water. Mix wine, cordial, and fruit well in a pitcher with a wooden spoon. Divide mixture, including the fruit, between 4 glasses filled with ice. Top with 1/2 c soda water per glass. Cheers! visit frostbitesfun.com/shop to grab this and our other cordials. free shipping over $75

Chocolate Orange Cocktail this simple, yet elegant cocktail marries the traditional holiday flavors of chocolate and orange, reminiscent of Terry's Chocolate Orange (which I would always get in my stocking!) Makes 4 grated dark chocolate , to rim the glass... 4 oz vodka 4 oz crème de cacao 2 oz frostbites kalamansi lime cordial 2 oz fresh squeezed orange or clementine juice ice Chill 4 coupé glasses, then dampen the rims with a little water and dip in the grated dark chocolate - you can also dip it lightly in honey if you want a thicker rim of grated chocolate (duh, who doesn't?!). In a cocktail shaker, shake the vodka, crème de cacao, kalamansi lime cordial and orange juice with ice (you may need to make in 2 batches). Strain into the glasses. I serve a shard of orange flavoured dark chocolate on the side. I really hope you give this cheeky cocktail a go. If you do, tag us in your pics! Cheers.

The little details are important. With a slower paced living this past year I have been paying more attention to the finishing touches of my cocktails. You go from ordinary to extraordinary with a simple addition that adds both glamour and flavour nuance. CUCUMBER RIBBONS... a swirl of cucumber in a tall glass looks stunning. For thin strips, hold the cucumber vertically and swipe downwards with a sharp vegetable peeler (or mandolin), avoiding the seeds. OMBRE DRIZZLES this takes a bit of practice, but pack a glass with crushed ice, pour you cocktail in and then slowly drizzle a brightly hued cordial over the ice. CANDIED SLICES Candied ginger is a simple sweet surprise on spears resting in your mule. Try this easy recipe for a show stopping candied pear: thinly slice a pear and press each side into a plate of granulated sugar. Bake at 350F for 10-15 minutes . Cool before tucking the slice into a gorgeous glass of froze topped with prosecco. DEHYDRATED FRUIT SLICES a large beautiful wheel of dehydrated citrus is always a show stopper when carefully propped up on a rim. Bonus points for nestling fresh herbs into the round.

I love giving gifts. I love giving food + beverage gifts. You know it - you can't go wrong here. We've filled our wee pop in shop with yummy holiday treats - traditional stollen + fruit cake, made by Sweet Thea Bakery, and the zesty-coconutty lemon squares (individual, share packs + party packs are available) by, you guessed it, The Lemon Square . We've also got cookies, jams, syrups, sweet + savoury crostadas, hot chocolate bombs, + candy - all BC made artisan treats to be g...ifted or shared. The shop will be open Sat + Sun and the whole week leading up to Christmas (we close at 3 pm on Christmas Eve). 38927 Queens Way, unit #11 AND we'll be at Riley Park on Saturday for the Vancouver Farmers Markets 10-2 with all of our cordials, large and small, plus gift box sets! Come say hi!

The classic SNOWBALL cocktail has been my holiday drink of choice this year. It's reminiscent of eggnog, but lighter and made fizzy with sparkling lemonade. Sounds weird, right? Trust me it's fresh AND festive. It uses advocaat, a traditional Dutch alcoholic beverage made from eggs, sugar, and brandy. The lemon + lime seems counter intuitive to mix with this, but it works. Traditionally it is topped with a cherry, but we added a slight savoury note with crushed pink peppercor...ns. Ingredients 10-15ml frostbites lime cordial, 50ml advocaat 50ml sparkling lemonade ice, to serve For the garnish cracked pink peppercorn OR 1 maraschino cherry Fill a shaker with ice and add the lime cordial + advocaat. Shake and strain into a glass + top with lemonade. Garnish with pink peppercorns or cherry. Cheers. Let me know if you try it!

Aloha! Usually this time of year we are already planning a trip someplace warm for after the holiday fun (insanity). Hawaii is hands down one of our favs, and this drink will transport you, briefly, to the islands. Our Hula Hula cordial is our version of the Hawaiian drink POG: passionfruit-orange-guava. It's the one cordial that is used daily in our house. One sip and it feels like you should be under a palm tree, swaying with the trade winds.... 1.5 oz frostbites Hula Hula cordial .5 oz fresh lime juice 2 oz fresh squeezed orange juice 2 oz pineapple juice 3 oz fizzy water (Pelligrino, club soda, your soda stream) mix the cordial + all the juices together over ice - stir until completely combined. top with fizzy water. start making a second one because you're going to want it. Want to booze it up? Add spiced rum! 1-2 oz, depending on how strong you like it. Cheers! If you could travel anywhere right now, where would it be?
