While Frosty was on vacation a significant stop was made to Sospel, France where, on this day in 1944, the Canadian and American Armed Forces liberated the city from the Nazis. Each year a commemoration event is held near the Liberation Bridge. To this day the French people are extremely thankful to their liberators.
