Shout out to these two beautiful people! It is Support Worker Appreciation Week and these are two of the BEST! I miss working with them every day and witnessing the way they support staff and students at school. They are open and caring with students who benefit from their patience and understanding. They work with students to find exactly the right support for each individual, starting from where they are and helping to gradually move them closer to their goals.... They celebrate their victories and are there to catch them when they fall. Students feel safe to take a chance and stretch their wings. Teaching staff value their insight and creativity and look to them for guidance. I feel honoured to have worked with these two and many others.
