We love our group games!!!! Operation was the game of choice today!

Why should you not iron a 4 leaf clover?!...... Because you don't want to press your luck! Check out all the fun we had today on St. Patrick's Day! We baked a green cake, dressed up as leprechauns and some of us even got green hair!

ENDS WEDNESDAY (tomorrow) AT 4pm! A BIG thank you to everyone who has participated and helped us surpass our fundraising goal!!

Three things we learned this week: 1. Scrapbooking is a work of HEART 2. Life is what you BAKE of it! 3. Measure twice, cut once, then force it to fit! ... We also built and painted our own race cars and raced them! Vroom vroom!!

Friday Funday!! What an awesome way to start our morning with an online wildflowers lesson by A Rocha Ontario! Next, we had a pizza party, and finished our day making Christmas cards for our friends and family! What a great way to end our week.

Happy Thursday! We started our day with a reindeer painting class Look how amazing everyone did!! We have a group of artists Next we got up and moving with our weekly Determination Martial Arts class the gang always has a blast!! Last, we popped some popcorn, sat back and enjoyed our first group Christmas Movie of the season!!

Philip was in charge of making popcorn today for our afternoon movie.... and it was delicious!!

We LOVE Christmas time! Mike & Brad know how to celebrate this time of year! These are their two favourite songs: Dominick the Donkey & the 12 Days of Christmas!

What a lovely Remembrance Day ceremony on CHCH News this morning! We reflected on how fortunate we are as Canadians, by paying tribute to those who fought for what we have today.

Today we said our good byes to our dear friend, "Erik" the tree. This was one of Mike's best friends. We took this time to reflect on all the good times we shared with Erik the tree- provider of shade and nature crafts. Michael put together his own farewell which he expressed through dance with the help of his good friend Jack. Farewell Erik, you will be missed.

Check Us Out!!!! We've got quite the moves!!!Our weekly Zumba/Yoga class really gets us moving and grooving. We always enjoy ending this program with stretching and relaxing meditation!

Wishing our new friend Sunny a VERY Happy Birthday!!! We had such a lovely time celebrating your special day yesterday!

We had a visit from Mario and Luigi today as well!

Today was Taco Thursday here at the centre! We sliced, diced and made such a delicious lunch. After lunch, we took part in an outdoor group scavenger hunt, followed by some relaxation to enjoy this beautiful weather!

Today we tried out a new game, Target Frisbee! What a fun activity to get outdoors and get moving! The scores were all so close, but our good friend Jack took first place! We will definitely be playing this one again soon.

WE'RE BACK!!!!!The gang is so happy to be back together again. Although things look a little different, it doesn't change the fun we have together! Welcome back everyone!!

It's Claire Bear's birthday today!! A BIG Happy Birthday to our amazing friend Claire. We hope you had a special day with family & friends!!

It's Throwback Thursday!!! We always enjoy reminiscing our group trip to African Lion Safari! We took the group bus through the animal park, took a train & boat ride, watched performances by elephants and wild birds, and made MANY amazing memories with our friends!!! GO WILD! African Lion Safari

A BIG congratulations to everyone who entered our Spring decorating contest!!! The winners of the first place ($50 gift certificate) were Rachel, Elizabeth & Nancy. Second place ($25 gift certificate) was won by Kami!!! Everyone did such an amazing job decorating their doors/windows for Spring!! A job well done!

We all look forward to our Zoom hangouts every Thursday afternoon! So many laughs and smiles while we hear from our friends what they have been up to during the week. Calling all of our crafty/competitive friends & families! We are inviting everyone to take part in a Spring/Easter decorating contest! Participants are asked to get creative and decorate either an outside door OR window (must be visible from outside) to spread neighbourhood cheer! Decor can be either Easter, spring OR a mix of both themes. ... There will be 2 prizes: 1 $50 gift card & 1 $25 gift card awarded to the two winners that will be drawn from a ballot box on Thursday, April 16th live on Facebook @3pm. We aim to support our local Hamilton small businesses, and therefore the winners can select a small business of choice to receive their gift card! Contest Instructions: 1. Decorate your door/window of choice in Easter/Spring themed decor by Wednesday, April 15th by 5pm. 2. Participants must take a selfie with their finished masterpiece and share it on our Facebook page, or email it to us. 3. There will be 2 prizes. This week is just flying by! Time really does fly when you're having fun. We started our day with zumba & yoga- and we really got moving and gooving!! We then got crafty, and made our own leprechaun mask.. they really gave us a good laugh.
