November 11, 2020 my beautiful amazing 96 year old Grandmother passed away in the night. I grew up taking the bus to Brandon many weekends as kid just to spend time with her. My Grandma was my refuge from the rest of the world. We were often kindred spirits, and she always went out of her way to make me feel special and tell me how much she loved me. Our favorite activities were curling my hair with old fashioned rollers, playing Snap on the back porch, shopping, and reading ...together. She was an amazing woman who outlived 3 husbands, yet would tell anyone we met how she was looking for another. She was at my high school graduation, my Esthetics graduation, my Red River Graduation, always with a hug and smile to tell me she was proud. She had 5 children, 13, grandchildren, and many more great grandchildren. I love you Grandma, and wherever you are, I hope you’re Square Dancing up a storm!
