SVG is a type of graphic that is fairly new (or new to me) and it stands for Scalable Vector Graphic. It is a way to enable the use of vector graphics in web design where you can make them bigger and smaller and be assured of their consistent quality at all sizes. Traditional web graphics like JPEGs, PNGs and GIFs lose quality as they are c...ompressed and you generally can't enlarge one of these graphic types once they are compressed.
