It’s finally happening! Stage 3 of the city’s reopening means new, important guidelines to follow. Here are some health and safety practices Function will be following: 1. 50% regulation capacity within the restaurant. 2. Social distancing measures of 6 feet apart. 3. Contact tracing required with each seating. ... 4. No use of physical menus - a digital format will be provided. 5. Staff are to wear a face covering at all times. 6. Friends, We’d like to make it known that the staff & ownership at Function Bar are closely following the ongoing developments related to COVID-19. The health & safety of our guests and staff has always been a priority at Function Bar and we have been committed to adhering to guidelines provided by Toronto Public Health. As of late, we have been taking even more precautions to help ensure the health and safety our guests & staff, and to help limit the spread of the virus withi...n our community. We’ve temporarily removed all table settings (this includes water glasses, cutlery, side plates and cloth napkins) to keep tables clear and easy to sanitize frequently. Water service will be provided upon request and poured from bottles that are sanitized through a high temperature dishwasher after each use. Frequently touched surfaces (the bar top, table tops, door knobs, hand rails...) are being sanitized frequently and thoroughly. Hand washing has always been frequent, and will continue to be even more so now. Furthermore, staff will no longer be providing tables with menus. Our food menu can be accessed online (we are happy to provide our guests with free wifi). Our trained & knowledgeable staff are happy to and capable of helping our guests make informed decisions on craft beer, cocktail and wine selection based on individual preferences.
