WOW...2020! Happy New Year everyone! Hopefully, you have recovered from all the shopping and eating that we tend to do during the holidays. By now, many of us have implemented our New Year's resolutions into our new 2020 routines. Let's hope that we can keep it up longer than a month! This year, Fundraisables will continue to work hard to add more brands to the directory. Last year, we did not achieve our goal of 50 directory listings with brands by the end of December. ...So, we want to start the year off strong by reaching out to as many brands as we can this month, in hopes that they will see the value in the directory and add their fundraising offers. Since Fundraisables does not sell directly to Quebec consumers, we fall within the category of B2B, therefore, are able to do business in the province, despite us not being a bilingual business. WOW! WHERE DID THE YEAR GO? I don't know about you, but this year has gone extremely fast for me. With our relocation to the GTA, it took us a little longer than planned to get back up and running efficiently again. To get us back on track, we had set some pretty lofty goals to finish the year strong and make this year count. Our original goal was to have 50 brands subscribed by December. I have now modified this goal to 50 directory listings with brands by the end of the... year, which is probably a more realistic goal at this time. We want to get as many groups as possible actively using the Fundraisables directory for all their fundraising planning. In order to achieve this, the directory needs to be filled with brands right across the country to keep groups coming back to see what fundraising programs are being offered in their areas. So, we have lots of calls to make in the next month or so. Today, we are introducing our new referral program to help grow the Fundraisables directory. With more individuals sharing Fundraisables, the faster the directory will grow. Fundraisables Associates are motivated (wanting to earn extra income) and outgoing (good telephone skills) individuals, with time available during regular business hours. Generally, most brand contacts (owners/managers) are at their retail locations during these hours. Fundraisables Associates will be a...ssigned within a town/city/region as we deem necessary, i.e. larger locations will require more individuals. We want to avoid duplicate brand contacts as much as possible, therefore, we have created a Log In for all Fundraisables Associates to record their brand connections. This list will be visible only to other Fundraisables Associates, so they can refer to this master list before trying to connect with a brand who has already been contacted. This master list will also ensure that the applicable Fundraisables Associates receive their respective referral payments.
