A reminder for FHFHA parents and players to fill out team and coach evaluation surveys by the end of April. The links to the surveys can be found on the FHFHA website.
Team Hungary/Westville As many of you may know, Westville native, Lisa Haley (nee Jordan), is participating in the IHF Women's Hockey Championships as head coa...ch of the Hungarian National team. The tournament will be held from May 6 to May 16 in Halifax and Truro. All games for Team Hungary will be played in Truro. Lisa is a great ambassador for our town with her great success as a player and coach. She has won an Olympic gold medal as an assistant coach with team Canada and recently was appointed Senior VP of Hockey Operations for the Women's National Hockey League. Whenever Lisa is interviewed she never fails to mention her home town. Lisa had hoped to bring the team to Westville to show them her home town. However due to covid protocols the team will be placed in the tournament bubble and not allowed to travel. To support Lisa the Town of Westville will be adopting Team Hungary as Westville's team during the tournament. It is my intention to also declare the team members to be honourary citizens of Westville. I would encourage you to send messages of support to the team and if possible attend their games in Truro. I will be posting the schedule later. Messages for the team can be forwarded via email to Lisa at: [email protected] See more

http://fundyhighlandfemalehockey.ca/news.php?news_id=1922904 As the hockey season wraps up for our teams, we are asking for feedback about how our coaches and team staff did. FHFHA is encouraging families to fill out our team evaluation survey, which is available on the FHFHA website.... Feedback will be kept confidential, and we ask that only one survey is filled out per family per team. Your input will help us to provide you with the best program that we can next season. Please fill out the survey by the end of April.
Congratulations to the Fundy Highland U13 A Subway Selects on winning the League Championship with a 2-0 victory over the Metro East Inferno Ice!

GAME ON Beginning on Jan. 25, all of our players will once again be allowed to play games across the province. We are grateful that our members will once agai...n be able to compete. We know that this year has been a challenging one but we appreciate all of the sacrifices that our members have made to get to this point. We feel fortunate to be part of a small minority of hockey players across the country that are currently permitted to be on the ice. Keep up the great work. Details below. https://bit.ly/3992uXO
