It's been a while since I've posted pictures of my jewelry creations. Life takes you in a different directions sometimes. I've been working on a bigger project these past two years which was building a studio apartment from scratch. Working with a tiny budget, we had to be extremely creative and did most of the work ourselves. Thank you Jean Léon Morin & Kristina Roic for giving us your old cabinets. Wishing for a modern look, I sanded the cabinets and gave them a fresh coat of paint with clear stain for the top drawers. The top shelves from IKEA, is one of the few things we purchased new. We made the table top and the stools with one of our trees. The legs for the table are from a used workbench. Stay tune for more pictures of the final studio

I was supposed to teach a jewelry camp this summer with the Ottawa School of Art but unfortunately it got cancelled due to Covid. I’m taking this additional time to do short workshops with my nieces, nephews and neighbors. So much fun! :)

Vacation time just started. More time for fun creative projects. Here’s my latest side of the road rescue. This cute little piece will be used in our new rental appartement which will be ready in a few weeks.
