Horrendous story behind these falls: Noh means dive and kalikai was a lady who jumped from the top of these falls. The story goes long time back when her husband died due to sickness and she had to remarry. Her new husband was quite lazy and didn't work. As time progresses he started hitting (physical abuse) kalilkai and her daughter. One day she went to for some work and left her daughter alone at home her husband got so angry and ended up killing her daughter, later on he c...ooked her daughter just to remove the traces. When kalikai came back she was surprised and got happy that her husband ha#s cooked for her and they ate. After finishing she went back to kitchen and realized some flesh in the dustbin and eventually realized they were the fingers of her daughter. At that very moment she knew she had eaten her daughter. This drove her mad and she took a knife and start running around the village and ended up near these falls and jumped resulting in her death.
