At Fuse42, we have recently expanded our focus of early stage startup development beyond the cannabis and hemp industries. We see an important trend that has massive opportunities, but also needs the support of programs like ours to help achieve the ambitious goals set forth that affect us all. We’re excitedly retooling to add our support to innovators that are working in some fashion to tackle the United Nations’ SDGs. In our work with #cannabis and #Hemp we’ve been inspir...ed by some of the incredible technologies, processes and innovators that we have had the opportunity to come into contact with. But there have been many more that we love that don’t fit under our previous umbrella. Instead of saying no or fudging our scope, we decided to follow our passion and make an adjustment (that has actually proven to be relatively minor) and focus on supporting innovators that are doing something to help us all achieve the SDGs. We are answering the question of what do you do with the people you say no to? and making an effort to #LeaveNoOneBehind. We all have value to offer. We just finished an on-line meeting with RBC (Edmonton) regarding a proposed, very large, upcoming venture. The RBC team is really great, listened to our needs, bounced around a few great ideas with us and stood ready to consider taking it to the next level. RBC - highly recommended - they had heard of Fuse42 Accelerator before we had even connected!!
