Key themes for workplace and organizational strategy in 2021 include: Flexibility, fostering connection, and starting fresh. . CBRE’s Workplace Sentiment Survey collected data from 10,000 respondents, across 32 companies and 18 countries. The purpose of the survey was to gauge employee expectations and experiences while working remotely during the pandemic. . The key findings: remote work does work, but the office is here to stay too. Employees want flexibility - 85% of respo...ndents showed preference to remain remote for 2 to 3 days a week, however, 60% of the same sample indicated they will return to the office when it’s safe to do so, for community and collaboration. Our design partners at False Creek Design Group created an edgy, open conc...ept design which included a large open staircase complete with bench seating to allow for town hall meetings, expansive Café, and extensive uses of millwork and metal finishes. The 9th Annual Covenant House Vancouver Sleep Out: Executive Edition raised over $1,082,932.37! This will mark Nick's 5th year and Dean's 1st participating in the sleep out event. Typically, they would have slept on the streets of downtown Vancouver with nothing more than a piece of cardboard and a sleeping bag, raising funds and awareness for homeless youth living in the Crisis Program. This year due to COVID, sleepers still came together, while remaining in separate locatio...ns.
