This application form is for: Visual artists, musicians, videasts, buskers, street performers, circus, and ARTISTS OF ANY FORM who would like to perform, g...ive a workshop, or activate public space with art in new Brunswick cities, towns, and villages this summer with Festival Inspire. We will be touring NB in June and July, creating murals in a new urban location every week. A little preview for the next delivered portrait commission to my client. I had never expected one day there would be people paying me to draw, to paint, to create! What an extraordinary job! My art teacher had told me that I'm not talented enough to draw when I was eight years old; truth to be said, I did think I was talented either. Being pushed to pursue higher education helped, thx to my family. Then I become an art teacher, not revenge but ironic enough. ... I've told there’s no way to make a living out of doing art; I am still alive, yet I see many of my students managed to own a studio of their own. I guess listening to others’ advice or criticism is essential. However, don't let their opinions press down your dreams. Btw, who can tell the person’s name in my drawing? If you got it right, still no prize , but I will help you support local artists by proudly receiving your compliments. Much appreciated if you would like to share this with people who are interested in Art but intimidated by not being famous. Art Delivery Day!!! Once I’ve heard an artist commented that creating art with your soul and the spirit will bring blessings into the recipients’ lives.
