Humans in Warcraft are a resilient species native to the world of Azeroth. Many live in the Eastern Kingdoms, once known as the Azotha. The Crest of the Alliance is a faction crest that includes a number of symbolic elements representing the various races of the Alliance: Humans - lion and roses (some humans are widely known as being noble or brave, and the lion is a symbol of Stormwind)... The Frog King (Der Froschkönig) or Iron Henry (eiserne Heinrich), is a German fairy tale collected by the Brothers Grimm and published in 1812 in Grimm's Fairy Tales. Traditionally, it is the first story in their folktale collection. In the tale, a spoiled princess reluctantly befriends the Frog Prince, whom she met after dropping a golden ball into a pond, and he retrieves it for her in exchange for her friendship. The Frog Prince, who is under a witch's curse, magically tra...nsforms back into a handsome prince. In the original Grimm version of the story, the frog's spell was broken when the princess threw it against the wall, while in modern versions the transformation is triggered by the princess kissing the frog. Jack Zipes noted in 2016 that the Grimms greatly treasured this tale, considering it to be one of the "oldest and most beautiful in German-speaking regions." The Grimms' source is unclear, but it apparently comes an oral tradition of Dortchen Wild's family in Kassel. Slurms MacKenzie (b. August 13, 2938 - July 21, 3000) was the mascot for Slurm, a highly addictive drink, and is called The Original Party Worm. He is required to party 24 hours a day. When Fry, Leela and Bender found out about the secret (and only) ingredient of Slurm, Slurms decided to help them escape as he was so tired of parties. He ended up sacrificing himself to save the others' lives from the Slurm Queen. The beverage Slurm has many similarities to Mountain Dew, which... has similar imagery for its advertisement. Slurms Mackenzie is a parody of Spuds MacKenzie, the Bud Light spokesdog. The Flash, American comic strip superhero created for DC Comics by writer Gardner Fox and artist Harry Lampert. The character first appeared in Flash Comics no. 1 (January 1940). Three men have held the title of "The Fastest Man Alive"Jay Garrick, Barry Allen and Wally West. Each of them redefined the word "hero." In the 1940s, college student Jay Garrick acquired his super-speed abilities in a random lab accident and became the first DC Super Hero to go by the name the Flas...h. Although the Flash has not always been fast enough to outrun personal tragedy when it has come for him, he always does his best to prevent the same from happening to the people of Central City and Keystone City.
