A parent-run board with our little pickle's best interest at heart. Did you know? Fuzzy Pickles is a not-for-profit organization governed by an amazing parent-run board. This means that our preschool fees are some of the lowest in Airdrie. Our families get an incredible preschool experience for a great cost. Each year, there are 10 Board positions to fill: Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Field Trip Coordinator, Fundraising Director, Event Coordinator, V...olunteer/Recycling Coordinator, Maintenance Director and our Registrar. Our classroom experience is built on creativity and connection. This is where we encourage the first steps to critical thinking while making learning a fun and enjoyable experience. Our kids learn important principles by using theme-based educational toys, weekly crafts and many social activities that encourage imagination as well as develop strong, fine motor and gross motor skills. We have a remarkable history in Airdrie. For more than 35 years, the Fuzzy Pickles family has watched thousands of Airdrie’s preschoolers take the leap into kindergarten with the confidence and courage to explore outside of their comfort zones. Our classroom is run by two INCREDIBLE and VERY special teachers. Ms. R and Ms. M have both been with Fuzzy Pickles for more than 10 years. Ms. R has her Child Development Supervision Certification from Mount Royal University and Ms. M holds her Child Development Assistant Certification. These two incredible women are at the heart of what makes Fuzzy Pickles an incredible place for our little pickles to learn, play, grow and belong.
