Hello Fraser Valley Members! Its that time of the year, our AGM is upon us and we need YOU! Last season we hosted on line AGM with our largest turnout yet, we're hoping that this year is no different and possibly even a better turnout! As with every AGM we have board members that have fulfilled their terms and we're looking for some members that would be willing to step into a roll on the board. We are a board made up of varying divisions and experience (not all ringette cen...tered). We have monthly meetings, currently via web. As with any non profit organization, we rely heavily on our members for volunteering to help mitigate association fees. Hello Fraser Valley Families; We appreciate your patience as we took a pause to assess and meet as a board to ensure that we are in a position of support. Yes the provincial health put out a statement, it was RBC (Ringette BC) that we were looking to, Phase 2: RBC Return to Ringette Guidelines This phase permits small groups focused on individual skill training and activities. Activities must follow physical distancing requirements 6', This phase permits small groups focused... on individual skill training and activities. at all times. IN addition, contact drills or activities are not permitted. Still no spectators When you come into the facility, to tie skates..,( you're to be wearing a mask.) When you enter/exit, please follow facility guidelines flow pattern Please remind your children of social distance on the ice: we're fortunate that with full ice practices we'll have the space to help facilitate. Drills will be non contact Now more than ever, correct attendance on Team Snap and filling out Health Checks. Covid Resource Hub We thank everyone of you as we all navigate through this and please note that we are all here to help and support one another. Dear Fraser Valley Ringette Members; Today we were informed through the BC Heath organization and then subsequently by RBC at 7 PM that we were heading back to Phase 2. Some of our facilities also reached out making sure of that our association also makes amendments to our facility information. The board feels that we are in need of an emergency meeting to ensure that we're ready to go in scaling back ect, we're aiming to have it tomorrow. With this new information, we want... to ensure that we are compliant and safe in going back into Phase 2. Which means no contact, drills/skills. Therefore the practices that were scheduled for November 8th. have been cancelled, once the board meets and discusses, I'll send out an updated plan, we appreciate your time and patience through this and want to ensure we're compliant and safe for us all, coaches, on ice helpers & our athletes. Good Afternoon LMRL Associations, As of 1:00pm today BC Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry has released a set of new Provincial Health Orders for the regional health authorities of Fraser Health and Vancouver - Coastal. The new orders will be coming into effect tonight, November 7, 2020 at 10:00pm and will be in place until November 23 according to the news briefing today. ... Please watch your emails for an official update from Ringette BC regarding the impacts of these new regional Health orders on all ringette related activities in the Lower Mainland Ringette League.
